On August 5 we decided we needed to see some of the country here in Montana, so we drove up through Jordan, to Fort Peck reservoir. It is huge, we were talking to some of the people who live here and they are very proud of their reservoir. It was built on the Missouri river for irrigation purposes. It is the biggest earthen dam in the country. They told us in some places it is 200 feet deep. We had to smile at this cause they thought that was something.
