At the Park

This was one of the last nice days we had, we had a great time playing at the park. (This took place towards the first of November).

Our Christmas Tree Hunt

 

We went hunting for our Christmas tree after our turkey dinner.  Justin spotted the perfect tree, unfortunately the boys were all asleep.  We had a great time getting our tree and not getting too cold, (we spotted it from the truck:)).

Happy Birthday Kayla (Mom, (Me))

 

My birthday was a great one.   We started out the day setting stock water tanks, that is where the dogs come in (don’t they look comfortable while we were working).  Then we went out to dinner at Mexico Lindo, and dropped the kids off at Ayla Browns.  While we were there she presented me a cake that Justin had asked her to make me.  I loved it, it was so thoughtful and nice.  Then Justin took me to see Baxter Black.  It was so funny and good.  It was a great birthday, thank you to all who remembered me.

We also carved pumpkins, another favorite tradition, the same night we had cake.  This was actually Halloween night.  Jed tried to eat the insides of the pumpkin, Yum.

For Halloween we went to the trunk or treat at the church, the boys had a good time they especially liked eating ALL the candy the next day.   Halloween only comes one a year right?

Christmas

As Justin just said I have Christmasfied our blog. I have decorated the house and I am in the Christmas spirit. Some may say it is a little early, but there is snow on the ground and this is the first time in two years I have been able to decorate my own house. I love it. Merry Christmas (a little early) and I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving. Halloween pictures are on their way so stand by:).

The Joys of Working Outside

 

The boys love being outside and when we get home they are always exhausted.  They also love to get dirty.  After this dip in the tank they got to ride home naked. (I am shaking my head).  They were freezing, but I am pretty sure they will do it again.

Todd and Luke love riding Fred.  Todd can get on all by himself, he trots and lopes and they have a great time.  They ask to ride him all the time and they pretty much do.
